SpotOps is a product of VMELLO MEDIA LLC, Indianapolis, Indiana. This describes what we collect when you pay to park, why, and who else sees it. Last updated September 29, 2026.
What we collect when you park
Your license plate. Required. It is the only thing that connects your payment to your car, and it is what whoever looks after the lot checks to see that you paid.
Your stall number, state, and a description of the car. Optional, and only used to find your car in the lot.
Your email address and phone number. Optional. We use them for one thing: to send you a confirmation and a reminder before your time runs out. Leaving them blank does not change what you pay or how long you are covered.
Your payment.Handled by Stripe. Your card number never reaches our servers and we cannot see it. We keep the amount, the time, and Stripe's reference for it.
Your phone number
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not sell your mobile number. No third party receives it for their own use. It goes to our messaging provider for the sole purpose of delivering the message you asked for, and nowhere else.
If you tick the box for text reminders at checkout and give us a phone number, you are agreeing to receive text messages about that parking session. Expect roughly one message per session, shortly before your time expires. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. Stopping texts does not affect your parking, and you can still use email instead.
Who else sees it
The business that runs the lot can see your plate, your stall, and whether you are currently paid up. That is the point: it is how they know not to ticket or tow you. They do not see your email address, your phone number, or your card.
Our service providers, each only for the job they do: Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Twilio for text messages, Supabase for the database, and Vercel for hosting. They act on our instructions and cannot use your information for their own purposes.
We do not sell your information. We do not run advertising, and we do not share anything with data brokers or advertisers.
How long we keep it
Parking records are kept while they are useful for enforcement, refunds, disputes, and tax, which in practice means several years. Contact details attached to a parking session are deleted when that session is no longer needed for those purposes.
Cookies
The payment page sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. If you work for a lot and sign in, we set a cookie to keep you signed in. That is all.
Your choices
Email support@spotops.co to ask what we hold about a plate or a phone number, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will need enough detail to find the record, which usually means the plate and roughly when you parked.
Deleting a record for a session that is still running means the lot can no longer see that you paid, so we will say so before doing it.
Children
SpotOps is for drivers. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this changes in a way that affects what we do with your information, the date at the top changes with it.
